Managing Director, JP3M. Roundtable 100 Blue Ribbon Committee
James Putra is Managing Director of JP3M, a family office investing across digital assets, equities, and alternatives, and run almost entirely on AI agents. He has traded markets for 28 years, spanning U.S. and Japanese equities, futures, options, FX, and crypto. He is also co-founder of Sourdough Miners, a bitcoin mining company that keeps him close to the economics of digital infrastructure.
His work sits at the intersection of traditional finance and digital assets. Over two decades in brokerage and trading technology he helped launch TradeStation Crypto, bringing an online brokerage model familiar to equity, futures, and forex traders to self-directed crypto investors for the first time, extending legacy infrastructure to crypto without giving up the regulatory rigor and user protections traditional markets are built on. That work was recognized in 2021 with "Most Impactful Fintech Executive" at the Benzinga Global Fintech Awards. More recently his focus has been applying AI to how capital is actually managed, from trade decisions and risk through to running the back office.
He speaks regularly at Bitcoin Miami, the Options Industry Conference, the LA Blockchain Summit, and The Trading Show Chicago.
On the Roundtable 100 Blue Ribbon Committee, he brings an allocator's perspective sharpened by 28 years of trading, plus a product builder's read on which emerging tech and crypto platforms everyday traders actually adopt.
Putra participates in the Roundtable 100 in his capacity as Managing Director of JP3M and not on behalf of TradeStation Group. JP3M and its affiliates invest across equities and digital assets and may hold positions in companies and assets covered by these rankings, including through his co-founded mining company, Sourdough Miners. His views and rankings are his own and do not represent TradeStation Group or any of its affiliates.
