ADT Blu debuts for the DIY security market

ADT is now offering ADT Blu, a self-installed home security system that customers can set up quickly and manage directly through the ADT+ app.

Through the ADT+ app, customers can arm and disarm the system, receive alerts, view live video, use AI video features and speak through connected cameras. The system is available without long-term contracts or an in-home technician visit.

The ADT+ platform also allows customers to expand their security system over time by adding devices and sensors as their household needs change.

Customers can choose between self-monitoring and ADT’s 24/7 professional monitoring service, providing flexibility in how they manage home security.

ADT Blu offers standalone cameras starting at $69 and system packages priced from $249 to $389. Customers can also customize their packages to suit their home's needs.
