Datadog takes #1, cybersecurity owns the top ten, and last week's #2 crashes 71 places in the sharpest reshuffle of the quarter
NVIDIA (NVDA) jumped 39 spots to #40, the week's biggest climb on the analyst-driven ranking of 100 future-facing assets. And at least one Blue Ribbon Committee member thinks #40 is still too low.
The case for NVIDIA, in the committee's own words
Blue Ribbon Committee member Sam Badawi, an AI infrastructure investor and host of The Solid Report, filed the week's most forceful submission, arguing NVIDIA's old #79 ranking missed what the company has become.
"Its current ranking does not reflect the scale of its AI platform or the transition from GPU vendor to full-stack AI infrastructure company," Badawi wrote. "The next phase is increasingly about software, models and ecosystem control."
His numbers: quarterly revenue of $96.2 billion at 75% gross margins, Q2 revenue up 106% from a year earlier, and data center revenue up 117%. "Few companies at NVIDIA's scale are still growing anywhere near this quickly," he wrote.
Even after the 39-spot jump, Badawi isn't satisfied. "Even that remains conservative given the fundamentals," he wrote of the #40 placement. His caution flags: customer concentration, massive supply commitments, and the cyclicality of AI spending.
Badawi also proposed lifting Latin American payments firm dLocal (DLO) from #61 to #55, pointing to quarterly payment volume up 92% to $17.7 billion and a CEO, Pedro Arnt, who "spent more than 12 years as MercadoLibre's CFO." The bigger opportunity, he wrote, "is not just LATAM itself, but dLocal's position connecting global merchants to emerging markets."
Last week's #2 just fell 71 places
The week's hardest fall belongs to Superplanet, the company formerly known as Super League Enterprise (SLE), which crashed from #2 to #73.
The analysts' reasoning was blunt: the Metaplanet takeover that excited the market is "not completed," gross revenue is flat, the company is losing money at the operating level — and the old leadership grade was, in their words, "too generous."
It wasn't alone on the way down. PayPal (PYPL), which sat at #1 two boards ago, slid another 20 spots to #85. The analysts noted its announced reorganization "is a plan, not proven acceleration," with revenue growing just 5%.
The rest of the big moves
Pattern (PTRN) jumped 24 spots to #5 on four straight quarters of 40%-plus growth.• Sezzle (SEZL) rose 12 to #2, giving fintech its highest perch.• SAP was the week's surprise, up 31 spots to #39 on cloud results and a BMO target raise.• Palantir (PLTR) climbed from #62 to #28, helped by a Goldman Sachs Buy upgrade on Oct. 8.• Uber (UBER) recovered from #85 to #58 on bookings up 22% and $2.8 billion in free cash flow.

How the ranking works
The Roundtable 100 is an analyst-driven ranking of 100 future-facing U.S.-accessible assets: equities listed on Nasdaq or the NYSE and digital assets available on major U.S.-accessible exchanges. Each asset is scored on five variables — Leadership, Safety, Innovation, Growth, and Market Dominance — with the Power Ranking as the average of the five. Scores change only on verifiable new information such as filings, earnings, regulatory actions and product launches, never on price action alone, and every score is defended by named analysts on Roundtable's Blue Ribbon Committee. Membership of the 100 is fixed between quarterly rebalances; ranks move weekly, membership does not. The ranking refreshes every Friday after the U.S. market close.
The Roundtable 100 is published by RTB Digital, Inc. (NASDAQ: RTB) for informational purposes only and is not investment advice, an offer, or a recommendation to buy or sell any security or digital asset. Rankings reflect the views of Roundtable analysts as of the ranking date. Committee members may hold positions in ranked assets. Investing involves risk, including loss of principal.
